Hollybank Reserve

Hollybank Reserve is a magical old-growth forest reserve 20 minutes from Launceston where dogs on leads can walk the beautiful forest tracks through towering eucalyptus and rainforest. The reserve is one of the 60 Great Short Walks of Tasmania and it genuinely earns the description — shaded, cool, and otherworldly. Popular for picnics as well as walking, it's one of those Tasmanian places that makes visitors understand why locals love this island so much.
