The Spit Dog Beach

The Spit Dog Beach is the Gold Coast's most iconic off-leash beach — a wide, windswept stretch of ocean sand at the northern tip of Main Beach where dogs have been coming for generations. The beach runs from the entrance opposite Muriel Henchman Park north to the seaway rock groyne giving plenty of room to run. Dog drinking bowls, hose wash-down stations, and the legendary Seaway Kiosk (serving doggie ice cream) right next door make it the full Gold Coast dog beach experience.
